BPIA members participated at AmericanHort’s Cultivate 17, the horticulture industry’s premiere annual trade show, in Columbus Ohio. Members of BPIA’s Specialty Markets Committee and Communications Committee worked together to organize a BPIA booth at the event to share information about biological products including biologicals and biostimulants to attendees that included growers, retailers, breeders, suppliers, researchers, and students.
During the event, BPIA’s Executive Director, Keith Jones, spoke at the Knowledge Center about building a horticultural business through the incorporation and marketing of biological products. Jones explained that with consumer demand for sustainable products at an all-time high and increasing regulatory pressure on conventional horticulture production products, the biological products sector is flourishing and creating a variety of business opportunities for those with the foresight to become market leaders.
BPIA would especially like to thank the members who sponsored BPIA’s booth at the show which were BioSafe Systems, Gowan, Scotts, OHP, MGK, Mycorrhizal Applications, and Vestaron.
