BPIA commends the Senate Committee on Agriculture’s Ranking Member, John Boozman, for unveiling his 2024 Farm Bill framework.

“We are thrilled to see the commitment to ensuring that Plant Biostimulants have a clear and reliable path to market,” said John W.S. Dunmore, Director of Government and External Affairs for BPIA. “BPIA has long advocated for science-based regulations supporting biological products for frontline growers and the advancement of sustainable agricultural practices.”

The 2024 Farm Bill framework addresses key issues that are vital to the future of agriculture, including the integration of innovative biological solutions, enhancing the resilience of our agricultural systems, and promoting environmental stewardship. This forward-looking approach will provide growers with the tools they need to increase productivity while reducing their environmental footprint.

As the legislative process moves forward, BPIA urges lawmakers to prioritize the completion of the Farm Bill this year. It is imperative that both sides of the aisle work together in a spirit of bipartisanship to ensure that American agriculture continues to thrive and meet the challenges of the future.
