BPIA members participated at the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants (NAICC) 2019 Annual Meeting and Ag Pro Expo in Savannah, Georgia last week. The NAICC was founded in 1978 as the national society of agricultural professionals who provide research and advisory services to clients for a fee. The NAICC now has over 700 members working in 40 states and several foreign countries, and its member have expertise in the production of most crops grown around the world. The NAICC exists to unify and support independent crop consultants and researchers and provide a forum for information exchange within the agricultural community.
BPIA gave a presentation titled the “Biological Products Market Overview: Past, Present, and Future” as part of a session on the role of biological products in Agricultural production systems. Also participating in the session were BPIA member companies, 3 Bar Biologics and Novozymes North America. The Ag Pro Expo included exhibits from several other BPIA member companies including AMVAC Chemical Company, Arysta Life Sciences, BASF Corporation, Bayer Crop Science, Brandt, FMC Corporation, Indigo Ag, knoell USA, Syngenta Crop Protection, Valent USA, and Winfield United.
